The American pool scene hasn't really changed. New billiard communities are rising, specifically in the higher ed sector of Ukraine.
Pairing up the brightest and most talented scientists in a billiard league can be a huge boost for the youth and science community.

The description of the All Ukrainian tournament feels like the way billiard was popularized in early US military.

The motivation behind this post is to promote new billiard tournaments or formats to make pool accessible to new players. One of the themes I enjoy is how it is academic oriented. The benefits of this forum has produced great results, so many discussions and arguments are thought out.

It makes me wonder how much of AZBILLIARDS is blocked by a great firewall.

For the pool players that travel internationally have you seen bilia played in person? What mistake is a mistake by their standards?

This year the championship was held in Svitlovodsk. Scientific and pedagogical workers of many institutions of higher education of Ukraine from different regions of the country took part in the competition.

In doubles competitions, teams of higher education institutions, consisting of representatives of the "Doctor of Science v Professor" + "Candidate of Science v Associate Professor" leagues, competed on the website of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University.

He also won the gold medal and the championship title with a score of 14 balls in the "Bilia" discipline (the number of balls scored before the first mistake).

Athletes of Taras Shevchenko KNU also triumphed in doubles competitions. In this category, gold medals were won by the members of the university's billiards team - Andrii Maisner and the former head of the department of the KNU Military Institute, reserve colonel Vitaly Vorona.
