Any recommendations on a pool glove? I was watching Filler and it appeared that his glove was padded. Maybe just appeared to be padded on top.

I don’t use a glove. I also agree that all hands are different. With that being said, the glove in my case is a Cuetec. It is a very good glove. Do what you want with that information.

I like kamui the best. I like how predator feel but they don’t last the longest because they are so thin.

If you’re looking for something not $30 these are on amazon for about $13. It lasted a long time and felt really good.

I like the PoolDawg branded ones. They last as long as the expensive ones and fit well. They used to be 5$, now they are 8$. I usually buy a couple pair at a time because they're not always in stock. I tried some of the super cheap ones from Amazon but they fall apart right away.

A couple years ago I needed another glove. The one I had been using was dirty and kinda smelly, but worked, so I looked it up on eBay. It was a pretty inexpensive one, made by Champion, and there are numerous sellers for those gloves on eBay. They have graduated pricing, and while one glove is about $4, they have prices for 3, 5, and even 10 gloves. I ended up going for the bulk purchase, and got 10 for about $18. I've been giving them to teammates, and some other friends, and I still have 3 or 4 left. One person I gave a glove is a girl on my 9 ball team. She is lefty, and she says the logo on the glove, which is on her palm side since it's a right handed glove, is like the grippy stuff on socks for her. These aren't high dollar, velcro closure style gloves, but they fit well and last a long time.
I think there is a psychological thing that happens when you give a newer player a glove, and then they're convinced they can now make more shots.....so they do.
I have a carbon shaft and don't use mine very much any more, but for those times when my hands perspire a bit, or it's humid, or I need to change things up a bit, I still put it on occasionally.

Dont waste your money on any of the name brands. Buy a big pack of cheapies on amazon.

I had never used a glove before but my wife, who started to join my rediscovery of pool wanted to try one, so I did exactly that. Ordered a 3 pack from Ebay for $9
Must admit, the first time I tried one I noticed a different in how slippy the cue felt. Although I always cleaned my cue and used some slippy stuff it could start to need a cloth after several frames. No such problem with a glove and I actually think my cue action became smoother.

Only thing i noticed is they didn't last long, perhaps a month before the fingers started to wear and loose some of it's 'glide'

Someone bought me a glove at Christmas with 8-ball/Mickey Mouse logo which are fun and also had cutout fingers ends which I much prefer. Also had a pad on the inside which stops wear. I doubt it was expensive and I'll find out where they got it and order some more. Fits nice and the pad on the inside keeps the hand firm on the cloth.

I’ve had cheap gloves and expensive gloves and they all get the job done. I like nicer gloves these days with open finger tips, most come with a cuff that I don’t care for and cut off. I’ve seen Kamui makes some without a cuff and I want to try those. 3 Seconds too but they have a full five finger design I don’t love compared to the three finger style.

Anyway, don’t forget to wash your gloves! They last longer and feel better if you toss them in the washing machine every now and then. I get 6 months to a year out of a glove easy, probably wash them every couple months to freshen them up.

Last few have been Predator and they’ve been great, but have bee happy with Kamui and Molinari in the past too, all very similar quality and construction.

I didn't keep track of Temu purchases and I got probably 25 very cheap gloves --- some ugly, some phosphorescent and a helluva lot of black ones. Don't talk to me about getting any more.

You know you can clean them lol I clean mine once a week. It takes a couple minutes to hand wash it and then I sit it out to dry

I never really thought about cleaning one either, since I have a pile of new ones ready to go.
I think I'll put mine on and wash it up good with a little Dawn, and we'll see how that turns out.
Can't hurt, right?

I have arthritus in my knees. So for me shoes a very important. I get several pairs of the same shoe to find the one that fits right. Shoes are mass produced and are still done on a machne by hand. So people go off the line a little bit can make the show comfortable or not. I'm buying $150 sneakers. I'm not going to see if it will eventually work out.

I would say the same thing would go for gloves for me. Material thinkness would be a big thing, cut of the glove is another, you get one guy in china that is off and the glove is too loose or tight. Plus with psoriasis the feel of the material is huge with me. Some fabrics feel like sandpaper to me on my skin.

You're just going to have to try out a bunch of gloves. Then when you find a glove you like they discontinue it 🤣

Cuesoul 10 pack for about $14.00. I have sweaty hands, and have played with a glove for well over 20 years. I have played with the ones with leather pads.. All they do is give an additional friction point that causes the cloth and leather to rip apart. The cheap gloves are just as good as the overpriced crap the big companies sell.
