glue on felt

I was glueing a new spot on my table and got some glue on thr felt it was elmers glue how,s the best way to remove it is a very little just out side the spot

If its elmers glue I would use water since that glue is water soluble

let it dry and very carefully pick it off with a razor blade

Have you tried duct tape? It removes 3M 90 glue from felt maybe it will pull Elmer's out.
