Glueing V-bottums?

Hello,

I'm ready to start glueing points into cues, and I'm trying to figure out what works best. Epoxy, or wood glue? And what kind? West System? Any advice. Also not that I'm doing inlays yet but what works best for those too? Flat bottums?

Any trouble spots to watch out for?

All and any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

I agree, use the West system. Early on in my cue building I tried wood glue and had some failures. Wood glue works fine for the veneers.

West. Just be carefull as some woods will soak up the epoxy and starve the joint. I mix up a slow batch and give all of the parts a primer coat. After is sits a few minutes I give everything another coat and put it together.
