uttahere:uttahere:Going fishing-not necessarily catching. A week in Bishop (Owens river stream fishing-YES with bait. Bouncing worms down stream w/split shot. Targeting the Browns-setting quick-losing a lot of teminal tackle is a good trade off when lip hooking w/barbless hooks in order to catch and release. Occaisional -swallow-gets cooked for lunch or dinner.Same guys, same campgound-last 20 years. A lot of fun/get scuffed up beating thru the brush to get to the unfished areas/turn a few ankles/fall in holes on the bank/drink some beer/BBQ every night/with luck get trout 'thumb' from releasing a lot of fish/get a lot of worm dirt under your fingernails/sunburnt hands and face-wear long sleeves for beating thru brush.
For a week I am a very happy guy.
