Going to buy a new cue need help

I had Joss cue that was recently stolen. It was the "Color of money" cue and I got it as a gift.

I'm planning on just buying a plain Joss.

Will I see much of a performance drop between the cues? Also thinking about upgrading the shaft to an OB2 or z2.

Any help would be nice, since I don't really know that much about cue performance. I liked my Joss better than my friends cues I have played with.
 
Provided that your old Joss butt and the new Joss but are weighted the same, there is no difference in performance in the butt itself.

The shaft quality could be different or it may not. Most Joss shafts are rather large (13mm or bigger) If that is what you like, than the Z2 and OB2 will be a HUGE change for you. I prefer smaller shafts with stiffer tapers like the Z2, but it plays nothing like a Joss shaft.
 
Thanks for info. Do you know if cheapcues.com is a legit website their cues are a lot cheaper than most other places?
 
I have done a lot of surfing on pool cue sites and they all sell at 20% off MSRP. Except for one that offers free gifts with a purchase. But if you do not want the free gifts you e mail them and get a lower price then 20% off. I will find it and post back.Here is the site.
