Like stated in the title, to get my GC3 into my basement, I will need to take off 1 side of the frame to get it around the corner. Right now we are about to start redoing the basement, and should have the table get put up professionally in the fall. Will a good table mechanic have an issue with this? Seems like it is a couple of bolts with the square head on them. Is it a pain to get back flush?

thanks.

table

I'm not sure how your planing on moving the table...let's say you have the rails, slate and aprons removed now you have a base frame and legs with a stretcher attaching the legs together.....flip the base frame and legs upside down....There is three bolts on each side of each end of the base frame..the two side by side are leg attachment bolts that go in to a angle bracket, remove those 2 bolts and the base frame will be free on each corner..remove all the 8 leg attachment bolts, or you could take the nut off from the stud that is in the center of the angle bracket'"the stud is embedded in the legs" that will free the legs up too....next you will carry the legs and stretcher together and set them aside.....the last 4 bolts that is still in the ends of the table are long 8 or 9 inch bolts, remove the long bolts' no need to hold or remove the nut that is trapped by a wood keeper in the frame..you can take opposite corners in a L fashion...remove the bolts and use a rubber mallet to separate the frame...its also wood doweled together so go easy and straight apart

Gc3 Frame

It's much easier to move completely apart. and only takes a min or to to disassemble. Same on reassembly.
