Looking forward to getting the table from you this coming week, Chaz! Thanks for the nice pics. I enjoyed our phone calls too. Deposit went out today. You should have it by Monday.

WOW! What a nice quick deal that was. I love it when things come together smoothly. This is what AZ buy & sale is all about. Kudos to you both.
 
the guy fell through after i put a deposit on a uhaul and told some friends that i would pay them to come with me to deliver and help set up..they took off work already...i need to sell asap... asking 1700 and we can work out the gas expense depending on where you live....ready to go asap......Table currently in orlando FL
 
Yesterday morning I overnighted a $400 money order deposit to Chaz. And, yes, the deal fell through last night, due to an emergency on my end. My fiance's 89 year old mom just passed away. We'd been caring for her for many months at home. We watched her draw her last breath there. Last night my fiance discovered from the funeral home that the funeral costs are going to be considerably higher than they first quoted. That funeral business really is a racket. They get you when you are at your most vulnerable, when you are grief stricken and practically unable to make a simple decision, must less understand a complicated two page funeral quote, which they then changed upwards by thousands. So, we can't afford the pool table now. I explained all this to Chaz. I am truly sorry we couldn't do the deal. But things happen in life sometimes we can't predict. I know Chaz is disappointed. So am I. I just hope he eventually finds a way to understand better than he did last night. He is young and will face difficult problems like this someday himself. My intentions were good all along. Life just eclipsed our plans. We think we can control everything in out lives, but sometimes we cannot. Those of you who are older and have been through similar difficulties will understand this. I hope someday Chaz understands this as well. I hope he is honest and thoughtful enough to return the deposit.

i didnt say that they were your cues to sell. You offered 2 cues in trade for the table that i turned down. when you brought this up after i told 2 people that i would pay them to come with me and i put a deposit down on the uhaul that i cant get back you called me and told me the bad news. when i asked you about the cues and tried to work out a deal with you all of a sudden you didnt want to trade the cues... you should have had things 100% covered before you had someone arrange a trip to your house. i asked for an 800 deposit and you only sent 400. hmmmmm...
 
and you also said that someone died when we first started talking about the table. then you said that you watched he "take her last breath" and had a funeral the same day???????????????and paid for it..... The fact is that i made promises to 3 different people and this situation has made me a liar..I was not misunderstanding it just seems fishy when you dont want to trade one of the cues for the table that you would have done 24 hours before you went back on the deal. And you didnt send the agreed upon deposit..you are a responsable adult..you should have had the finances already put together yourself before you arranged to have a table delivered. I told 2 people i would take 150 each and pay them to come with and help me move the table. and 60 for uhauls rental...uhail will not give me my money back...the other 2 have have a wife and kids to support why should you have them request off work and then not make any money because you were not ready to keep your end of the deal..

the fact is that you didnt send the 800.. you were the one that went online and called and arranged to have a table delivered to your house.. there was no mention of someone else giving you the money for the table.. that was supposed to be done on your end 1st..If you find someone to buy the table then i will be more than happy to give you your end back.. I apologize to spanky for not getting to paypal him on time because of you. and i will make right with him.. and i have apologized to the other 2 guys but i cant come back on my word, that is what a deposit is for...to make sure nothing like this happens..It would be nice to live in a world where you dont have to leave deposits on everything and a handshake meant something again, but it doesnt. you werent financially ready to buy the table to begin with.. you were spending your money and my money before you even had it in your pocket..I paid my 2 friends there 150 each because there is no reason not to.. i paid uhaul the 60 before u backed out, I bought the paint that you wanted me to touch the table up with and have already used some of it...you backed out and screwed 3 people. the least u could do is let me pay them the 150 each and for the uhaul and the paint and i also bought you new slate screws which were a buck each for 16 of them. now you want me to lose 400.....see what the azers think about that
 
you didnt even pm me or contact me about the deposit you went straight to the boards because u know that if you put it up there its going to try and make me look bad.. i didnt say i wasnt going to send it back but now im not taking money out of my pocket for your wrong... you wont trade the cues for the table, you wont take a small personal loan and you wont make small payments..how much do u want me to offer...you refuse to work with me.........you were fishy when you only sent 1/2 of the agreed upon deposit... why wont u sell a cue now?...you would have yesterday... I had a feeling that you didnt have the money when you offered the cues for trade and when you couldnt come up with it then u came up with this im not paying for it "i lost my backer" Your 50 years old you shouldnt need your fiance to "back you" backers put the money up when it should be put up.. you were playing hoping that your backer would show up..and she didnt.. i know you found another table...thats why you were asking me all the questions about slate at the last minute after i already sent you multiple pictures of the table and you know i would send more if requested...all of a sudden 3 days later you have more questions and concerns on the last day.. come up with the rest of the money today and i can still get the uhaul and deliver it and then u can resell the table..that way you get your deposit back and can make your money back... sell one of the cues...take a small personal loan..after this i will not do payments with you but i would have, how much do u want??????????? have fun with your table from club billiards
 
This is a very sad and difficult time for us right now, Chaz, which it appears you cannot fullly relate to. Again, as I have said to you more times than I can remember in the last day, I am sorry things worked out this way. You do what you think is best, what is right in your heart.
