since i acquired this table in pieces and all the hardware was in boxes I have no idea where these go. I thought they went to the side of the ball storage to mount to the wood skirts but it’s not. There also not for the ball return to the storage.

Anyone have any ideas?

I can’t find a gc1 assembly manual online. I’m in the process of staging everything so when I have the table set up I have everything here and don’t need to run out for hardware.

Never mind , I’m pretty sure I found it.

Thanks for posting the link Mcox. I have been wanting that manual for quite some time now. Much appreciated.

The only L brackets for the ball storage tray on my Gold Crown I are on the sides.
I’m confused on how the pictures depicts it. It looks like there’s two wood screws in the front and 4 on the top angled going up on my ball holder. Since I have the ball return I think it’s B . I must have filled the holes when I painted it.

Yah. I think they used what ever material they had available. Do you have any pics of another l bracket for the ball holder. I think that manual is for an older gold crown maybe a 70s model.
Mine is fastened by the cleats at the top that attach to the rail trim and long wood screws into the frame through blocks at the back of the ball tray. I don’t have fasteners through the side brackets as seen in the pics.

FWIW, this is out of my Gold Crown Installation Manual dated December, 1961. This is exactly how my Ball Storage Tray is assembled. I believe my table to be a late 60's/early 70's Gold Crown I due to the metal nameplate, adjustable feet, floating nut plates and shortened aluminum cleats.

I often uncrate machinery and such and often the manufacturer will use a shipping bracket like that to hold things to the skid.

They may indeed be a part of the table.

I've seen it happen a number of times during an installation, where someone goes, where does this part go? and it was a shipping bracket.

Not in this instance.
