Gold Crown IV pro 8 price?

I have a friend who is offering to sell me a Gold Crown IV pro 8 bought it in 2002.

He wants to sell it to me but i want to know what the price range would be for a 85% - 95% condition would be. He's willing to sell it to me for a good price but has no idea what the price would be.
 
If you buddy bought this table new he spent $8000-9000. I'm not sure what the value of used Gold Crown are but if it were mine I would want about $4500-5000 delivered and installed with new simonis.

I think he paid about $5,000 for it but was considering asking him for $1,000 since i'm low on cash.

I recently sold a 9ft GC3 for 1,300 picked up and that was the most I could get. I have 4 more of the same tables to sell and have not had anyone offer more than 1,000 on these 4 remaining. I am in the northeast. So IMO maybe your offer of 1,000 is a bit low but not to far off.
