Gold Crown Rails

I was wondering if there is any way to refinish the top of the rails on a Gold Crown III? My table has quite a few nicks and chips on it and wondering if there is any way to fix it.

I'm interested in this as well. I've searched all over but can't seem to find a good source for info on refurbishing a Gold Crown III.

I was doing some table research last summer and talked with (Jamie, I think) at Meullers. He indicated that they had just invested in a machine to mill table rails to fit GC's. He said his first job was a GCIV and was creating ebony rails for it.

I can't believe they have not been swamped with orders. Maybe the price is high or it just didn't work out.

Good Luck! I gave up on mine and traded the table.

maybe you can post some pics of your rails, would like to see what your talking about,

if its scratches > that can be corrected easily, if deep dents those can be filled. Its the blemishes in the middle that are a real problem. Need pictures

Sounds like there could be a market for replacement GC rails.

If I had some made, they'd be made out of Dymondwood... like on my Pro Am. The things are the nutz... I can bounce a pool ball off the top of my rails ~4' in the air with hardly any effort... no dent... no marring... no harm done... simply, AMAZING!! ;)
