Yes it can be done'. Getting it done is another story... Why do you want this done? You going for the look or the play? Witch GC model do you own? I would have the rails on your GC reworked to the next generation specs by RKC.. Either way you go, you will like it!

GC rails
The Play! But after thinking about what you said...rebuilt or upgraded rails would be the way to go. This table is a GC I. The problem is 3 rails came from one table and 3 rails from another. The way the bolts are attatched is how I can tell. 3 have floating disc's and the other 3 use a round plate that is screwed on the bottom of the rail.
