Gold Crown Timeline

Can anybody tell me what the timeline has been for the release of the various Gold Crowns? For example:

Gold Crown I - 1962 to 1973
Gold Crown II - 1974 to 1985
Gold Crown III - 1986 to 1997
Gold Crown IV - 1998 to 2007
Gold Crown V - 2008 to 2018
Gold Crown IV - ???

Am I close? I just guessed at the above so someone please enlighten me here.

What exactly is the difference between the GCI and GCII. I have heard things like figure 8 vs. captured nut rail hold downs, different hangers for rail blinds etc. but I think all of this stuff happened on GCI's.
I think the GCIII's were all stained, no more paint but I think GCII's were painted, correct??
