Gold Letter Joss - Value / Info

I'm looking for information on a friends Joss with Gold Lettering.

Looking for a ball park figure on value and if the whiteish inlay in the butt could be Ivory.

There's no inlay in the points.

The cue looks very similar to the Joss N8 though yours has 4 veneers rather than 3, like some of the higher numbered "N" cues. It was made in the late 80's early 90's, so if the cue is straight at this point it just may stay that way. I'd guess the original list was probably around $700 - $750.

I'd highly doubt there is ivory in the cue. I'd guesstimate the value around $300 - $350. They are good players with a nice stiff hit.

actually JOSS, danny used a lot of bone in those cues

hope this helped, he also, did use some ivory, just a lot more bone and mammoth.
