This one makes me sick. It is my Color of Money joss with the Gold Letter.

What...you thought I was done?

This was taken from the Wright Cue Company website. They had the privelage of selling Sigel's JOSS cue that he won every tournament in site with. Maybe if he had kept it...he would win some IPT events. This is the cue you see him using on all of those great Accu-stats tapes. All of the 9 ball biggie wins? Yep, this one. That 150 and out against Mike Zuglan...yep, this one. And I think for the time it sold for a paultry 20K.

Notice, the butt is identical to the one on TOOMANYBUG's brother's J-17, but the points are different. Joss put out a model with these points but a different butt design.

Ok, enjoy the pics. I'll see what else I have.

What can I say, it was his birthday and he wanted it. :o

Sigel works on customized sticks at Joss Cues, but he is on tours so often boss Dan Janes (standing) only pays him by the hour.

88 or 89 Varners made by Joss Cues.

These have some of the same butt sleeves as the gold letter Joss's from that same time period, but the point from a different models. I think it was very common in those days to make custom Joss's just by exchanging the tops and bottoms around.

You've been holding out on me! Just goes to show these cues are out there. It is only a matter of time and patience til' I find one of those last two (or something close) on ebay and I'll outbid the world. ;) That NV3-7 looks awful close to that cue your brother now owns....and is going to sell back to me. (That was my subliminal message)

don't forget that the ORIGINAL shaft ring's gold lettering will line up the same as the ring on the butt.

Picked up a j2 over the weekend with a ivory ferrule original shaft.

I'm considering trying to collect the whole j series.

Hey, that sounds like a good idea!

I think I will too...TOOMANYBUGS, sell me back my stinkin' JOSS! :)

well I was thinking I'd buy it from him and then post pictures of it, and then listen to you whine how you want it back...now you've ruined the whole motivation of collecting them.

Now now, play nice. ;)

*l* What? Huh? Did I type that out loud?

Now let me ask a question of you. Is the bumper reccessed on your cue Matt or Toomanybugs?

My j-15 is off to Mike Webb sometime this week, think the weight bolt, bumper, and butt cap are wrong if my memory of such things is right. Not to mention that annoying sound coming from one shaft (insert is loose I think, might be the ferrule)

The J2 I got this week is in great shape, and all three shafts are excellent.

I don't know how to answer your question. It is like a Schon or a Huebler.
Maybe this picture will help?

Matt got the cue from the original owner, I got it from him and gave it to my brother, who now owns it and He says "Its not for sale" (sorry Matt).

Bugs.

*laughing* That message was about as light as I ever get....jokes sometimes get lost in translation.

Hey Bugs...that is exactly the way I thought they were, and mine isn't correct. Now to get it fixed. Thanks for the photo.
