We met this morning..... Played for about 2 1/2 hours. It was a fun morning. Thanks AZB. This forum brings people/players together. Philly.... see you soon. Nice meeting you. You play well. I enjoyed the session.
Nah...... Nothing negative. No pool room drama or Steven Segal scenes. The coffee was pretty good so no reason to start a riot. I missed my share is easy shots but did not feel like breaking or selling my cue. The room players were in poolroom etiquette compliance. The bathroom was fairly clean. The GoldCrowns are in good shape. Balls were polished. I did not get pick pocketed. My car was not on cinder blocks when I left the pool room.No blow by blow recount?
No arguments about rules?
No deriding the other's cue?
No being called a homo for wearing a glove?
No complaining about losing to luck?
No winner?
No loser?
This report is a ripoff..

Which room did you meet at?
We met at Markley Billiards in Norristown, Pa. They open 9am on Sunday.
Heres the blow by blow. We played about ten games of 9ball which if I recollect right we split. We then played 3 games of one pocket. Gold Crown took 2, I took 1. Around 11:30 I had to leave as I had a new grandson coming home from the hospital.. We will get together again if I can pull Gold Crown away from his busy schedule.

you are lucky to be able to play some one pocket......
Felt good. My biggest flaw is not playing enough. I do not have a lot of practical time with better level players. 1P is my favorite game right now. My goal is to play a respectable game. I don't gamble/play money sets. I enjoy the exchange of moves and how creative the game can be.
Greetings. The 3 of us would have a ball. Like you...Philly is a very good and enthused player. The day would not be long enough.philly if you come down to fl maybe we can all meet/play
Gold Crown, you play a respectable game. Come with me to Classic Billiards and I will match you up with some A one pocket players with which you will learn a lot. We play one pocket on a triple shimmed Gold Crown.
No ...... My dog is luckygoldcrown
you are lucky ...
GoldCrown VS Philly part x.
So I'm rusty. Have not played anyone for a few months. I lost the competitive edge for now. Ok... my alibi has been established.
Lost a race to 7 9ball. Started out ok and nose dived. Hit bottom and kept digging. Started
a new set of 9ball played a few games and don't think we finished. Shifted to OnePocket.
Philly took me in a long game of cat and mouse. He has improved drastically from the last time we played. Better shot selection, moves, banks, I hope he gets the 1P bug, stays interested and looks to grow.
Philly....I want a rematch. Would like to start out with 1P next time and play 9ball afterward. Hopefully this Sunday from 12-3. I will lie to my wife and use all means necessary to sneak out of the house. Can we raise the stakes? A pack of Lance peanut crackers from the machine a bottle of water, and a regular coffee.
If you are interested kindly sign or leave an X to accept the challenge .

See you Sunday at noon. One hole on table 4. Bring $3.25 so you can buy the crackers, coffee, and the water. Jimmy will hold the stakes.
Philly, I might get back your way next month. Will let you know.
Haven't hit a ball in 3 months though, probably need a spot
