Golf is broken

Pros shoot under par too much and get scores that are way too good. It needs to be harder, even though I can't break 90 and don't really matter.

Jump cues, racking, table size (although I do prefer the 9ft) etc. ***** ***** *****, complain complain complain. Unless the pros don't like the way things are nothing is going to change and ultimately I'll watch them no matter what's happening because I love the game.

The raw potential is there but it will take money to make money & the players have to stop prostituting themselves out.

They are the talent & they should own their game & employ or make a deal with a single promoter.

It would have to be a promoter with money & vision & one that will not pimp the players but be a partner with them.

The old PGA players did it as did the tennis players.

The model is there.

Just my 2 cents.

Why would you even worry about it? Lee Trevno espoused that if you couldn't break 80 you shouldn't be allowed on a public golf course.
As for the pros, what have they got to do with you? Much like pro pool players you each live in different worlds. Just be thankful you're not a pro pool player.

They really need to ban drivers. Makes it way too easy. Golfers should have to use their putters on all shots.

Maybe they need a nappier cloth so you have to "read the greens" before any slow rolling shots.

Maybe to get more people interested in pool you should enlarge the pockets as golf is doing with the 15" hole.

I am confused about your complaint. Golf's regulating bodies ban new items all the time. They work hard to try to keep equipment matched to courses.

Yeah, this post doesn't make any sense. International golf authorities worked together to ban the long putter (more specifically, the anchored stroke) starting this year. A crackdown on the ball, or at least a technology freeze, is probably next at the professional level.
