These squares were reclaimed from a demolition project in Bahia, Brazil.
I have no idea how old they are but are likely to be at least 75 years old.
Pieces with this coloring are rare and these were sent to me directly from
Bahia "to test the market". Goncalvo Alves (GA) was the favorite wood of the late Jerry Franklin from South West Cues. And for good reason--it hits fantastically and is reasonably priced for nice pieces of wood. No coring needed as you cannot improve on the "hit" of this wood.
