Good cue re-tipper north of Atlanta?

I haven't had one retipped in a long time. There used to be a guy that picked up and retipped at a pool hall on Indian Trail Road, can't remember his name but it was in the early 90's. Yeah, it's been that long. If anyone has an idea who it was, I might recognize the name, but it's a long shot I know.
Barring that, who's good? Thanks.

There is a cue repair guy on site at Johnny Archer's tournament this weekend in Marietta.

You can get your tip replaced and see some pro pool... Hard to beat

You may be thinking of Curtis Hale? If your interested, I'll install your "provided" tip and clean and seal your shaft for $10. I have a lathe at home in Duluth, and used to run a cue repair shop in Canada for 5 years and probably have some western Canadian folks on here who would vouch for my work. PM for details.
Cheers, Mark

Kevin Wright works out of Marietta Billiard Club. He should be there this weekend, plus the MBC site shows the times and days of the week that Kevin is there. Since I found Kevin, he's done about 90% of all my cue work for about 15 years. I'm very particular about my tips - I drive an hour each way from Newnan just for tip work.

On the other side of town, there is Steven Lomax, out of Mr. Cue's II.

They both do excellent work, you won't be disappointed with either.

steve lomax, lane symons, danny t, are some of the cuemankers around here that can do it. the gentleman at marrietta billiard club who was mentioned, l.g. at mr. cues, and a handful of players who have lathes in thier home - i had clay fisher put some tips on for me and they were perfect. he plays out of mr. cues and lives somewhere north of there.

Thanks for the suggestions. The cue in question is not in dire need yet, just getting a little thin. I've actually been avoiding using it because I didn't know where I was going to have it retipped, so I'll use it freely and take it to one of these guys. The one at the Tournament in Marietta, is he there all the time or just for that day?

Any more to add to the list?
