Hi Jennifer... Great job you did down in LC! It was really great to meet all three of you (Melissa, Sarah, you).

I have a question regarding your game with Lisa D'Astro (sp?). There was that one game where she got you on the 3-foul rule. During your second attempt, you told Mark the ref that you were taking a deliberate foul. I can understand that, since you didn't want to break up the cluster of balls and let Lisa have an easy run-out. But then it looked like you were going for it on your second and third attempts?

Hope ya don't mind my question about your game, as I'm a C+ (or D- on my bad days!) player and am always wanting to learn more about strategy and whatnot...
 
Hi Paul,

From what I remember about that game I scratched on the break or hooked myself & missed the kick, and then she played safe. It was then that I took the intentional foul to tie up the next ball & keep her from being able to safe me again, but I didn't quite get the ball where I needed to and she played another great safe. I definitely went for the kick that time, but to no avail! She locked me up pretty dang good.
