Hi and thanks, PaulAlex7000! I would've liked to win the whole shebang, but third is quite respectable and I'll take it!! Hsin beat Martha 9-8 - it was quite a match! Started out back and forth, then Hsin took off and left Martha in the dust 8-4. I don't know what happened because I was busy talking to Jonathon (the room owner), but I guess Martha started playing like she did against me and next thing I knew it was hill-hill! I think she made a ball on the break but then missed or played a bad safety, I missed that part, and Hsin made a great runout to win. Very exciting match!

No, sjm, it was not a qualifier, but $750 was added to the main tournament and they held a second-chance tournament on Sunday which also had $750 added (with an additional $10 entry) for the players knocked out on Saturday! First place in this tournament was more than third in the main event!!

Anyway, it was a great tournament and many thanks to Jonathon and all his staff for everything!!!

WOW!! And I'd like to give my heart felt congratulations to you. Do you think that any of the "new stuff" contributed to your success or was it too eary to implement in competition to determine it's impact?
