as a self-employed sound engineer, i have a feast/famine business; some of the year i'm hopelessly overbooked, sometimes no gigs for weeks.
i just realized that this is an opportunity for really dedicated practice up to a week at at time -- IF i found tables that i could afford. because i used to be a touring musician, i have many friends in the Northeast US to stay with, so the major cost for this would be table time, and if i could find a room that has a fixed cost for some part of the day, that wouldn't amount to so much.
do you know any halls like this?
