I used to teach school.

At the school where I taught if a teacher did something like this there would be an uproar by the parents, superintendent, principal, etc, etc and the teacher would probably have gotten fired.

Far better than mindless video games that only teach you how to remember a sequence of moves in a computer program, with pool they are learning geometry, physics, risk assessment, and they are actually using their bodies walking around the table. I know, it's not running a marathon but it sure beats sitting in a chair for hours......
