Just wanted to share a short review on Ross cue I got from Kevin Noel who built it for me on my specs and with design I choose. I already saw the photos that Kevin took and I was absolutely delighted with the way it turned out. However, I've received the cue a few days ago and this was the first time I saw it in person and although the pics were great and he did great photos they don't do it in justice. Workmanship is perfect, each detail is executed flawlessly and the finish is like a glass!😀
Then I brought it to a pool hall to try it out and I was stunned. The cue plays amazingly great and consistently what is in my opinion the most important thing and something what makes a difference between good and great cue maker since all of us have our own preferences...some like stiff hitting cues, some mid stiff and some soft hitting cues. Some like forward balanced cues and some like backward and so on but everyone wish their cue plays consistently and to have enough energy and power. I wanted stiff hitting cue and this is exactly what I got. The balance is perfect and if you are experienced with cues you would be able to realize that this is a great cue only by holding it in your hand.
The shaft wood is highly quality and the wood for the butt as well. It is a beautiful piece of Curly Redwood and the inlays really pop. Talking inlays, I really like them since I am a fun of fleur de lis type of inlays but more important is that this shape is pretty unique and immediately associates me with Kevin. As a result of my happiness but of my appreciation too I already ordered two more cue from Kevin!😀😝
So, I am absolutely delighted with the cue and with the way Kevin treated me and would without hesitation suggest him to anyone. Actually go for it and put yourself on his list now, before it isn't become too long. Although all of us have our own tastes and preferences as I mention before I really can't imagine someone wouldn't be satisfied with playabilty on any Ross cue.

Enjoy the pics!😀😀

I can appreciate you saying that you can tell it's a good cue, just by holding it in your hand. A good cue must have a good balance in the hand, to bring lasting satisfaction.
