Gorilla Glue

Hello everyone, first post ever. i have experienced terrible shelf life issues with Gorilla products. I have shifted my CA glues over to Starbond and
the longevity problems disappeared. For cue tips i use their impact resistant CA glue and I have no issues with the few tips I have changed...So far....

I’d be remiss if I didn’t post this. Just opened a new bottle of GG CA to install a couple of tips. Prepared the tip and ferrule as normal, waited 10 minutes and started to shape the tip. The tip fell off!! Never had that happen with Loctite Gel. Only used GG because the store was out of Loctite Gel. Tried again after sanding tip and facing off the ferrule again. Guess what? Tip fell off again even after waiting 15 minutes this time. Same thing after waiting 20 minutes. I don’t have all day to install tips. Got a bottle of Loctite Gel and finished the job with no problems. Here is the lot # for the GG - G130317L. Not saying all bottles in that lot have a problem, but mine did.
I have never been a fan of the ca gels and may never be. I have given them another chance lately and have found them to be a pain in the ass. Besides being hard to get out of the bottle they take a very long time to cure compared to ordinary old CA. I usually give a tip with loctite pro super about ten second then go for it. I have not been successful getting gorilla glue gel out of the bottle yet, but did just try the loctite pro gel. I treated it as I always have the regular super glue pro and the tip came off. I glued up another one and let it sit overnight and it was fine. That is not what I want when I'm trying to get something done fast and strong...thus "super glue" For fast reliable results I am huge fan of Loctite super glue pro. That shit just works!
