Does any one know if the 3 U can enlarge patterns?

I got a manual off of ebay for around 20 bucks. I will see if I can find it. Chris.
Thanx Chris , we have it up and running great , but heard it could enlarge patterns as well. Let us know if you could , we have a download manual from Larry , the gentleman who we bought it from , but it is very hard to read and a lil veague.

Make sure you keep the spindle bearings oiled with the oil that dosent exist any more. I have been using 3 in 1 oil that comes in the dripper can for the last 4 years and havent had a problem. Any spindle oil should work. Chris.

I don't believe it goes that way I have a 3U set-up on 4:1 .
Question why would you want to use a small pattern and get larger cuts that is asking to break bits and leave a not so clean pocket or inlay ?
I purposely set up at 4:1 to keep things clean Also gives you maore room for error with out showing so much in cue altough i have never really had a problem with that.Have you been useing this machine or are you just getting Started..
