I work in a treatmentcenter for people with addiction and psychological problems. Recently we had a pooltable installed so they can spend their time in a fun way. It's nothing fancy: cheap plastic balls, typical housecues and the walls and cloth are dodgy, to say the least. But Im running like crazy! Bankshots, 3railkickshots, clearances.. anything goes! You should see their sobby faces! Muhahaha!
On a more serious note: ofcourse I will step down a bit to make it more enjoyable. Also I want to teach them a bit so they get better. I think that will make it even more fun. Their cognition (concentration and memory) is quite poor, however. So what are simple and fun practices that teaches concepts of pool? Anyone experience with teaching such groups? Any similarities perhaps with teaching pool to children? Thanks!
