Got wood?

I'm kind of partial to: woods with a flowing grain pattern, not too many knots
Blackwood
Ebony with some character
Tulipwood
Rosewood with a good grain
Bocote with a straighter grain not too many knots
Maples with some figuring...birds eye, curly, tiger
What I don't like: I know it's not wood but...
white derlin...too synthetic looking, never understood how someone
can create a masterpiece and stick a hunk of this stuff on it
What's used too much:
Gaboon Ebony, the jet black type. Though, I guess it does have its place when the cue is about the inlays and not the wood. Shows Ivory nicely.

least liked:
rosewoord: i CANT find any cue with it thats nice. :s just dont find it atractive. every wood can be atractive with the right balance in figures , colours etc, but i cant imagine some1 who finds that rosewood is nicer looking then cocobolla...
favorit material for rings, inlays, points, etc:
WITHOUT any doubt: Silver... ANY cue that has silver just makes me drewl. its abnormal. ive got a silver fetish.
ps: how more expensive is a silver inlay or veneer compared to other woods in %?
imagine u have a basic cue that costs 300$, how much would u have to count xtra for each time silver is used? id like to get a rough idea how much my favorit cue would cost.
