GPS trackers for cue cases

Which Android GPS trackers are good for cue cases, personal property, etc. Simply leaving a cue case in a pool room while using the rest room or in my truck while parked or as checked luggage can be problematic. I have an Android/Samsung/Verizon phone and go to the pool hall located in a high crime area at least trice a week.

Anyone with experience having recommendations or warnings???

I just use one of the apple AirTag things (not that I need to where I am currently keeping my cues)

Me too. Air Tag. The better you hide it in your case the more likely the thief won't find it and it will keep working.

If you want a real GPS tracker, deal with SpyTec out of NYC. Caught my wife of 46 years cheating on me in 2 days. What they have is worth every penny. Battery goes about 2 weeks before recharging. Yes, I divorced the bitch.
I always thought a liquid mercury switch alarm that would scream in the case if it was moved would sell. That way you get you use your steel-toed boots on the thief right away. Nothing like the front teeth on the floor as payback for a thief.

I heard of a guy who used his GPS to track down his stuff a couple years ago.
He went to the thief's house with the cops and got it back.
Problem was, the cops needed to hold his gear as evidence if he wanted to press charges.
With the backlog, he didn't want to be without his cues for that long so just settled for getting them back.
I don't get it. Photos should have been enough in court.
I guess he could have sought revenge in his own way, knowing the guy's address.

Airtag are not that good for theft unless you notice it right away.

The problem with airtags is after a certain amount of time they will notify everyone around them of their presence through an alert on their iphone. apple did this intentionally to stop people from placing unwanted airtags somewhere, them and tracking people down. Once people get an alert about an airtag following them, they can make the airtag beep so they can find it.

when i googled spytec and tried to click on a link to their site
got an alert "risky site" not secure and did not try to access it

You should be able to hide one of these slim tile trackers in several places in your pool bag. Throw in an air tag as well. If they find the air tag, they will get comfortable, then the tile will get them. Air tags are better because Apple makes all Iphone users track them by default. The Tile brand requires others with the app who volunteer.

My friend made me joint proctecter holders that have a spot for an Apple air tag. Looks like a normal item on my case but if you steal it I will find you and hunt you down.

If anybody is coming to Vegas I can hook you up! I tried to attach picture but it won’t allow me but you can PM me.

Here is an option. This video is recreated using real footage. This tile saved him a few thousand bucks. Unfortunately that pool hall is not the nicest and you do need to keep an eye on your equipment!

Where was this? Montreal? Cops in Portland, Oregon wouldn't respond like that. I remember a stolen car case in Portland some years back. Cops would only take a report...until...he told them he worked in demolition, had explosives in the trunk. By golly, they found his car! Then he remembered that the explosives were stored elsewhere. ;)

Wild story. Hate if for him but also good for him for getting his gear back.

I would have just knocked his window out after seeing it in his car. Would have taken a picture of it in there first though. Karma
edit, should have said her I guess
