Graphite shaft question

I know nothing about them. Are they susceptible to dents like maple shafts? Thanks for your opinions.

Carbon fiber ding in shaft

I have a small ding. Thinking about taping it off and applying a smooth coat of JB Weld and then razor blade it smooth after semi dry. Any thoughts?

No dents at all and I love it.

With wood i use to get a ding in the shaft every week. I kind of became a pro at removal. With my CF shaft I have not had one ding in the past year that I have used it. From what I've heard you really need some force to ding these things. It's not impossible but I can be done

They are pretty smooth. I kept my wood shafts smooth as glass and CF is about the same.

No need for a glove. I heard stories of the shafts turning peoples hand black or getting calluses. NOPE.

I would recommend carrying a towel to keep your hands clean and shaft.

The OP's title says Graphite. Did you mean Carbon Fiber or the Graphite There was a small discussion Here.

When someone says Graphite I think of this.
