Great 9ball vid links??......................

Just watched this. WOW!! That's a pool match. Got a question: early in Buddy mentions CJ using one of "his" cues. Anyone know what cue that may have been? Meucci? Derby? Blud? Just wondering.

It's one hell of a match going hill hill.

2001 International of Champions finals Chao v. Bustamante. 50K winner take all. Worth watching the entire match for some solid playing. But the tie-breaker (starting at 47:33) was the most exciting single game of 9-ball I have ever seen. Four shots, any one of which could have been the highlight shot of the tournament, were all made in the same game. I was in the arena for the match. Glad to see that someone preserved it on YouTube.

This has to be the worst colors for pool balls ever for a TV match :banghead:

CJ's cue..................

I've known BH a long time and at any given moment he may be using a half-dozen different cues. I know in '91 he used Bludworth, Derby, and Southeast to name a few. I msg'd CJ and asked him.
The cue in question was a Bludworth. CJ just msg'd me with that info. He still plays with a Blud today although not same stick.

Great match CJ vs The Miz from back in the day.

CJ could really play back then and The Miz was one of the best ever.Fantastic play from both players.

Buddy and Billy doing the commentary :)

CJ Wiley vs Steve Mizerak 1991 Sands Regency https://youtu.be/LYt1MegGEaw
Nice match.

Steve Mizerak's stroke looked pretty wonky at times! He didn't lack for body English.

I watched the Chao-Bustamante, Rempe-Reyes, and Bustamante-Reyes matches.

The non-pro commentator for Rempe-Reyes was Best in Show worthy with his obsession with combination shots.

All of them are definitely worth watching with great endings, though unfortunately the Bustamante-Reyes match used a strange overhead shot with an ad overlay that obscures the path of the balls.
