The best thing to do is find a great player to assess your strengths and weaknesses so you can figure out what you need to work on. Also, be creative. If you always practice the same things the same way you will become bored, and it will be hard to get yourself into the practice room. Good luck!
Dababe, I know I've said this before, but you are Dabest. And so is Dawife.

Thanks Jenn!
I don't quite have 6-8 hours to practice every day, but if I did I would. I need a different job that pays well and allows me to practice pool 6-8 hours per day. Can I carry your cue case around...lol?!?!? I'll be your Caddy. I definitely try to focus on my weaknesses when I practice. I go to the local poolhall to practice. I usually only practice for 2-3 hours when I go. I almost always practice alone. It's hard to focus on things when you are playing with someone. I am there to practice. They are there to play. I try to change my practice routine all the time. I do different drills. I just had a lesson this past Saturday from a BCA instructor. I learned quite a few things. Now I just need to PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.
