Great Match: Hall Vs. Bobby Hunter

I just watched this whole match, it was great, Miz commentating-he gave a credit to Jay Helfert, there was a foul called on Buddy about half way through the match, it looked like a foul to me but the video quality wasnt HI-Def so its hard to say if it was or wasnt. Overall its a great match, some big shots, Miz, Bobby, GREAT commentary.

Bump for a great match, its a must see. It was before Bobby was making cues, Buddy was thinner and played great. Its too bad they edited out few games but trust me I have sweated alot of matches and this one is a 7/10 and has no commercials and is about 45 minutes.
 
Great match, if for no other reason than to show what strong strokes the players needed to play on that slow equipment! It was nice to see them going for shots. Without the 3-foul rule, you'd see more shot making. Physically Buddy looked good, although you could already hear him wheezing. Bobby looked like a little Kid!!

Bobby was in town a few days last week & showed up at Hard Times, Sacramento. He still hits em pretty good & Chicago must be good for his one pocket game since he spanked me four to zip. He won the flip, broke and made a ball and ran eight and out the first game. Then it all went downhill from there. John Henderson

I remember that match when it first aired. I asked Bobby before about that foul on the 5 ball by Buddy, and Bobby said "it really did not matter as Buddy had left him straight in anyway."

Ouch! Well, he's one of the great players. What kind of weight were you getting? Please don't tell me you were playing even. You haven't gone that far around the bend, have you?:D :D

Yes I have, but just think of the bragging rights if I could have won. Worth the $200 investment, don't you think?

I am on my way to your old stomping grounds for the Hollywood One Pocket tournament after paying my respects to Chuck at Hard Times. I am going down early to stir up a little action and know I won't have a hard time finding it. Sorry, I don't have a laptop, so you will have to wait for the bloody details. Ronnie will be there to guide me so I'm stopping by the bank for extra $$. John
