First of all its been my experience that BIG GAMBLERS "steak" Great Players since most great players either don't have the big money or refuses to put up their own money. Keep in mind that the BIG GAMBLERS have to win 2 out of 3 times just to break even (assuming equal risk each time they back somebody).
With that said, I believe that Efren Reyes is the best player in the world (tournament or for the money). I once saw Efren play Ronnie Allen 15 Ball Rotation where they both played one handed in the air for 1,300.00 per game. He broke one handed in the air and ran out.
