Great pool rooms in taipei???

Hi! Can anyone help me? I have a few days there and I want a good place to play. It would be nice if they had well kept equipment and some good players in the house.

I couldn't tell you about the rooms there, but from what I have heard, it would be difficult not to find pristine playing conditions in Taiwan. From reputation, Taiwain is the one country that has better kept tables than Japan.

Thanks. Where is a good room in Tokyo? I travel there from time to time.

Thank you!

Bagus in Kabuki-cho, Rosa Kaikan in Ikebukuro, and CUE in Shibuya are really big pool halls and good players drop in from time to time. There are a whole bunch of smaller pool halls that will be more player oriented, but you have to look hard to find them. My friend works at one called Stella in Kagurazaka , which is pretty nice. Also, Monaco in Kokubunji was a pretty sweet little room.

What type of place at you looking for?
Are you looking to just practice?
Or do you want to play/watch some good players?

Where will you be staying in Taipei?

I first recommend:
1) Exit # 2 of Taipei Metro ZhongXiao DungHua. On your left side as you exist the Metro, you'll see a gym. Turn left and you'll find elevators that will take you up to the 9th floor. On the 9th floor, there are 2 pool halls across from each other. Decent place with a chance of seeing someone pretty good.

Thanks! Yes, I want to go where the good players go. so the room is in the same building as the gym. I'd like to give this place a shot.
