Great Quote Re Earl

I finally got the sound to work on the Earl vs. Fu match at this year's WPC. Steve Davis dropped a great line on Earl, after he got ever so slightly out of position on a shot. Davis said, "It's fascinating, really, how Earl can keep control of that cue ball while barely being able to control himself..."

Davis is hilarious throughout the match.

I love Earl but boy is he a troubled soul...

What a great quote and oh so true. Sam

Hey Sam...not to digress from this Earl thread, but Piggy Banks Rogers did an article on banking a few months back in BD. How about starting a thread and sharing some of your thoughts, theories, and concepts on short and long banks. I can't even state how thoroughly impressed I am with your win in that event. Great job...

While were on the topic of quoting players that are talking about Earl yesterday I read an interview of Alex P, it was just like any other interview until Alex was asked what player he enjoys beating the most, Alex said he loves beating Earl because he's an asshole  here's the thread containing the interview:

I like these quote-

Dressing a pool player in a tuxedo is like putting whipped cream on a hot dog.
Minnesota Fats.

If you murder a player, he'll be psychologically beaten before he gets on the table the next time.

I had been threatening to write a small handbook for basic banks and kicks for about 2 years. I feel the system I teach to beginners and intermediate players is the easiest to understand. Watch for the new thread. And thank you for the compliment. I had a great time and wish I would have met more of the gang, but my matches conflicted with the party and I didn't get to stay long. Count me in for a copy. Autographed, of course.
