Great start to 2013!

Played in an 8 ball tournament and won 160.00 then my buddy is gambling with a strong 6. He throws me up on him for 300.00 a set race to 5. I'm getting a game. I beat him 4/1. Then we play for 500.00 race to 5. I'm giving a game. Beat him 5/1 with THREE 8 on the break and a break and run! My buddy that was backing me lost all 800.00 back so we broke even then I played the "6" 5/3 for 100.00. I'm a "4" in 8 ball. Needless to say I beat him 5/1. I guess I shoot better when the pressures on.

I love gambling now, just thought I'd share my experience of the new year.

I'm only 21, no family of my own yet! Lol

1/4 and 1/8 mile drag racing. I have a street truck with twin turbos. Runs 9.50@147 in the 1/4. I also race with a guy who has a mid 6 sec car and a low 7 sec car. Just started playing pool a lil over a year ago.

I've made the 8 on the break a high of 5 times in one night, never 4 times, 3 times a couple of times but never back to back to back, and 2 times multiple times back to back.

Sounds like you are and your buddy are young (guessing early 20's), playing in the APA and having fun. Your buddy should have thrown you a bone before losing it all back. Maybe at least then you both would have had some drinking money. Tell me if I'm wrong.

BTW...I haven't missed a ball in 2013 yet. Maybe I will play this weekend.

My buddy's a lil older (27) the only way the guy would play is if he had a chance to get his money back playing my buddy who's been drinking all night. Shitty move on the guys part but kinda clever. He knew he couldn't beat me even if I spotted him two games. I may play his buddy tonight for 200.00 in a 5/4 race. I'd be getting a game since he thinks he's super strong lol. I like playing on big tables they wanna shoot on the bar box.

How do you not miss a ball? Gotta break dry sometimes lol.
