Up for sale is an excellent condition Dave Kikel Six Point cue with nice ringwork and beautiful wood combination. I am not completely sure what wood the points are??
Has old school appearance with the brown phenolic joint and buttcap, has black with white spec linen wrap. I rolled the butt about twenty times to make sure it is straight and I can see the slightest variance at the joint. It looks like it might have just a tiny bit of roll, but just enough to barely see a little tiny bit of light under it, 99.9% of the people would probably call it "straight as an arrow", but I don't want anyone to have any surprises. Comes with THREE shafts, two old ones and a brand new one from Kikel.
The old shafts have Ivory ferrules and one of those is cracked, but the shafts roll very good. Cue plays extremely well like most of Dave's cues!!
Butt is 14.95oz
Shaft 1 is 12.70mm and weighs 4.05oz with ivory ferrule
(nice old heavy playing shafts)
Shaft 2 is 12.60mm and weighs 4.05oz and has the cracked ivory ferrule
(another old heavy playing shaft) both of these are what I would consider pretty darn straight, you can't really see any variance at all when you roll them.
Shaft 3 is 13.00mm and weighs 3.85oz and has the slightest taper roll.
I am not sure if this cue was refinished at some point, or just stayed in extremely great condition because it was in a collection, but there isn't a mark on the butt. It is in GREAT shape.
I know there are four shafts in the picture, but it only comes with the three, sorry!!!
