each year for the last 2 years, i've ploped down and watched the world snooker championships over the internet. i find snooker to be very dull, yet very intresting all at the same time! question when or better yet, what is the first televised date? is it in march? thanks, p.s. hope mark williams wins again, i like the way in which that bloke plays.

Anyone British ...

Hi Folks,

Does anyone recognize the name Alain Robidoux in Round Two? Is he the Canadian player?

He also won nationals this year in Halifax, I heard his cuemaker saw another sponsers sticker on his cue went nuts and smashed the stick, I guess it's slowed him down abit as far as competing in the UK. The matches I saw in Halifax he wasn't really challenged though, still the best snooker player in North America IMO.

Usually the actual playoffs begin in April with the challenge series starting in February.

I haven't had the chance to see him play yet but Alain Robidoux is definitely our best snooker player, although Cliff Thorburn will always be my favorite.

Yeah he's my favourite aswell. Really a nice guy....I haven't met him but i've seen him play 9-ball at shooters here in toronto, really a gentleman. Cliff lost to Alain at the canadian snooker championship I think.
