Groot runs a 150

Am I wrong to be suspicious of the editing (there is often an edit between shots)? Not saying he did this, but he could have replaced the balls and shot again to keep his run going.

That's a fair and natural thought
He could have
But ye edited it for the viewer
Look at the rest of his videos he can play
His gathering and speed control prove it

He tries to bring a different approach to teaching with humor and silliness, so it doesn't suprise me he edited it for time,

Not as if this is him claiming to be the first to run a 150, many have and many have run more

Spanish player Raul Cuenca ran 200 and out in 71.2 this yr in the European championships as in the same event Eddy leppens won the 47.2 final by running a whopping 250 and out
