$500 Added Amateur Bank Tournament played on 9 ft Diamonds
Both tourneys will be played at the same time, play in one or BOTH!!

9-ball Details: THERE WILL BE 10 TABLES TO PLAY ON!! Simonis cloth ad new sets of balss for all of the tables!!
NO TOUR CARDS TO PLAY IN GSBT EVENTS!!

Regular player entry fee: $60 (includes tournament/registration fee)
Player discounts: Must have proper league card, drivers license, military id to receive discount!!
League players: (APA, BCA, TAP) $50(includes tournament/registration fee)
Seniors: (60 & up) $50 (includes tournament/regstration fee)
Juniors: (14 & under) $50 (includes tournament/registration fee)
Military: (active w/ ID) $50 (includes tournament/registration fee)
Ladies: (non-touring pro) $30 (includes registration fee)

**A $24 tournament / registration fee is taken out of the entry fee. The rest is added to the tourney prize fund.
Ladies who pay $30 to play a $10 registration fee is taken out. The other $20 is added to the tourney prize fund.

When 3 or more ladies enter the tournament there is a separate $50 prize fund paid out by the GSBT for the top lady. Just an extra incentinve for all of the ladies to get in here and battle with the guys!

*** PLAYERS MUST HAVE A VALID ID TO PLAY IN THE AMATEUR EVENTS!!
A/B Amateur Events-NO PROS ALLOWED!!!!

Match Races:
There are 4 ranks of players: AA, A, B, & C.
AA: race to 10
A: race to 9
B: race to 7
C: race to 6

Rules & Details:
-Lag for the break
-Rack your own balls w the 2 ball in the back of the rack
-Alternate the break
-Texas Express rules
-9-ball does not count on the break in the bottom two pockets (NEW RULE)
-7 ft Valley bar tables

Start time:
Free practice at noon
Auction to start at 1:30 SHARP
- $10 optional bid for each player

9-ball BANK Details:

Entry fee: $40 ( $10 tournament/ registration fee)
$30 of entry added to the tournament prize fund.

-Race to 3 on winners / Race to 2 on the one loss

how many tables is the 9 ball gonna b on................ 6 tables just isnt enough for what the turn out was last time..... the power outage didnt help

There will definitely be 10 bar tables this time. Just talked to Michael yesterday so the extra 4 tables will help tremendously esp if we don't have another power outage, that was just bad luck!

There will be 10 bar tables this go around insted of the 6 we had last time....just a reminder!! :)
 
I will be there...

I will be back and I will not be drinking like the last time! I was extremely twisted at the last event. That would come from the 2-3 hour "downtime" due to the electricity going out and my buddy with me who doesn't play pool! I intend to play in both events. Something tells me it won't have the same turnout of 100+ players as it will be Summer. But, we shall see...

Well, you can drink a "little" just not over kill! we are hoping for a good turn out, as there will be 10 bar tables to work with! That will speed things up a good bit! See you in a few weeks!
 
A BIG BUMP for a great event at a player friendly venue!! Make plans now to attend!! Last event had a total of 163 players!! Let's do it again!
 
A few more weeks and the extravaganza begins....hope you all have made plans to attend this event.

Where else can you find a 9-ball and a BANKS event happening on a regional tour??? Here.... The GSBT!!!

Last time we had 99 players in the bar table 9-ball which there will be 10 tables to play on and a full field of 64 in the banks!! Let's do it again!!

Good News..... Michael's does have 10 Bar tables with Simonis, new balls, set up and ready for play!!Michael's has had his whole air conditioning system re-done so it should be nice and cool in there all weekend! So, players COME ON!!!
