The Great Southern Billiard Tour rolled into Fairfield, OHIO to host venue Michael's Billiards. Last nights 9-ball bank mini tournament had a full field of 32 players with Timmy Heath going undefeated to win the event.
The main events start today showcasing a $1,500 added guaranteed amateur handicapped 9-ball tournament that will be played on 9 ft Diamond tbles with freshly covered 860 Simonis cloth.
The ranks in the 9-ball are:
AA: Race to 11
A: Race to 9
B: Race to 7
C: Race to 6
Format is lag for the break, rack your own, alternate the break, 9-ball doesn't count in the bottom 2 corners, and Texas Express rules.
The $500 added guaranteed amateur handicapped 8-ball tournament will be played in 7 ft bar tables and will be played simultaneously. Players are allowed to play in both events.
The ranks in the 8-ball are:
AA: Race to 7
A: Race to 6
B: Race to 5
C: Race to 4
