This classic Gus Szamboti cue has now officially been authenticated by Gus' son and master cue maker, Barry Szamboti, as one of the first cues ever made by his father. The certificate of authenticity comes with the cue. This classic cue is sure to appreciate in value yearly.

I remember this cue !

I remember Jimmy playing me with this cue in an upstairs pool room about 25 or 27 yrs ago. I was intentionally playing him in front of the fellow I was really there to play. Joe Fury. Jimmy beat me out of about $150 playing $30 & $50 One Pocket and sure enough, Joe Fury & I started playing the next afternoon for $200 a game. We ended up playing for $2000 a set, race to 3. This was one of my fondest memories of Philly. I went to Gus's basement shop and he did some work on the shafts of my Balabushka. I will always remember the spaghetti dinner his wife fixed us for dinner.
