Gus Szamboti Tribute and Cue Conversion

Are those real ivory inlays?

I don't understand the point of Titlelist conversions. Can somebody explain that to me? Are they significantly cheaper than starting with a new blank?

Is this because the point work is already done for you?

If you're going to pay for ivory inlays/joint collar might you not as well pay for it to be done a new forearm?

Cue looks nice though.

--------------
The GST cue does not come from a Titleist blank. Its a totally new cue. Nor are the other 2 conversion cues pictured in this thread. I guess Brunswicks and Titleists are nice to convert because many of the best makers have used them and they are now part of history. Well, at least that's what I think...
