Anyone ever have a Haji Custom Cue?

Philippine cue maker, but what got me interested in them was that he uses FULL wood, no coring involved and uses a lot of ebony and old world style in his cues as opposed to what you normally see out of that area, all that abalone and fancy-looking cheapo cues.

Hightower Joint...

is 5/16 x 14 just like Joss or schon.

And on the core note, why do you hope they are cored? Please explain.

Coring

Hadji, you mean.
I hope he is coring his cues that make it here.

Bro... I don't core all. Depends on what wood I use.
The ones currently that phinmole pertains to is a bocote cue, and the other blackwood... the handles are cored... and worked for a long period of time. Ebony I do core, also tulip, cocobolo and other woods prone to movement. Another reason that I core is to enhance playability... I use bocote, PH and more stable rosewoods for this. I don't use maple all the time.

My shop is climate controlled, and the woods MC and shop humidity are set to whatever location the sale is targeted.

When I do core, I step drilll and step bore with different boring bar lengths. I don't have a gun drill... Also my core size is different from the normal 5/8 or 3/4 used. My core on the handles is also different... not just a straight out 3/4 since the thickness of the handle varies from the A-joint to the buttend.

Thanks!

Thnx, that's what I thought too.
I leave mine a little oversized too so I can thread the top and bottom.
So when the coring woods have more contact and in compression ( idea given to me by Bob Flynn of Denali Cues ). Thanks Bob.
