I've been using Hal Houle system for 10 yrs now, but been playing pool for 21 yrs. Hal taught me how to see the quarters, center and edges basing on shot angles. He is know for only 3 spots to hit at on most shots except on hard cut shot gotta use the edges.
Way I do it:
1.I already see angle and know which 3 spots to hit it at and edges depend on the angle.
2.I walk up get down center cue ball( I walk up directly behind center cue ball and just let my legs do the foot work to get me off set position)
3. as I am aiming center cue ball at the same time I am sighting and seeing that the left or right shaft/ferrule directly on one of those spots. Right shot use the right side and left shot use the left side of the shaft/ferrule)
I've been doing it different now: I am doing the same thing but instead of walking up sighting center cue ball to either A,B or C and the edges.....Now I just sight center to the edge( Stan Shuffett version) but I already know what angle is and A,B,C and edges shot....only thing different I am lining my body to see center to edge before I get down into the shot.
If anyone disagree or got a suggestion, please reply back or PM me.
