Thanks goes to Hal and Stan first off for giving me and everyone else out there CTE and PRO ONE. Hal started me off with CTE pivot aiming and gave a foundation to the creation of Pro One. Stan has done something with that foundation that's nothing short of a miracle IMO. Thank you Stan for all your effort bc i know it must have drove you nuts to get to where you are. I know.. I tried it myself and gave up. Stan's always answered my emails and phone calls. He is a true mentor and teacher to me not just in pool but how to be a professional and maintain a genuine down to earth quality.

Next I would like to give a special thanks to those here on the forum who have helped me. First Dave Segal (spider) for creating the video that inspired me to seek out Hal. Dave has defended OUR way of playing pool from the nay sayers and provided me with some hilarious videos and comments along my pool journey. Nobcity has also helped me when i have had problems with Pro One. I know none of these ppl on a personal level but the fact that they have taken the time to share and help me, i consider them to all be part of my pool family.

Thank you guys for giving back to the GAME!!

Thanks, Calvin!

I really appreciate your comments and support! I am very well aware of the hard work you've put in over the last many, many months. I hope many rewards come your way as a result of your stick-to-it attitude.

Wow...you're welcome. It's my pleasure. I learned this from MANY trips to Hal's house and from many calls with Stan. If I can help a random student of the game to not have to endure the grind that I went through, it's my pleasure.

I hope I've been able to help a little bit and thanks for the thanks! LOL Unfortunately for me, I feel like my understanding or knowledge of CTE/Pro One is, at this point, advanced past my playing ability. My perspective is a bit different than most of the guys who post about Stan's system as they were high level advanced players to begin with. morht, Gerry, Neil, SpiderWebCom and I think his handle is DHK (the other gentleman in KY who posted a video of a 200 ball run out in 14.1. With my present understanding of CTE/Pro One, I can now easily see why they picked it up so quickly.

I can truthfully and sincerely say this though. Thanks to the system and the lessons from Stevie and Stan, I'm definitely a much better player than I was a year ago. And I am convinced a foundation has been laid for me to improve significantly as I move forward. CTE/Pro One is the best aiming system without question (at least to me). More importantly for me, it forced me to recognize a number of very limiting flaws with my stroke and other fundamentals that has led me to work on the right things. IMHO, if you had perfect alignment and a perfect stroke, you could pick up CTE/Pro One and have a reasonable level of proficiency quite quickly.

With my own experience in mind, I also firmly believe if you watch Stan's recent video and you are struggling with CTE/Pro One, you need to step back and evaluate your stroke and other fundamentals. I wish I could explain it better but my closest analogy is this. When you are aligned properly and you deliver a straight stroke, you can just feel it when the OB ball travels straight to center pocket. It is like hitting a golf ball with the club face square and perfectly on the sweet spot. You don't even have to look, you know everything about the shot was as perfect as you can have it.

If you get a chance, you should by all means get a lesson from Stevie Moore. He is a perfectionist with his demands for a straight stroke. He absolutely won't blow smoke up your butt then take your money and tell you how great you are. He'll show you your stroke flaws and then work tirelessly to show you what you need to do to fix it. Work on that for a few months and then go visit Stan. He's one of the most knowledgeable and best Instructors in the game. If you love the game and are passionate about getting better, if you take a lesson from those two professionals, rest assured, afterwards you will feel the same way I do.
