This past weekend (Jan. 31-Feb. 2), folks up in the area of Waterville, ME, which had reported over a foot of snow a few days earlier, woke up on the weekend that turned January into February with a frozen, ‘hard pack’ layer of snow, 18” of it in some places. The $750-added Maine State 9-Ball Championships held at TJ’s Classic Billiards in Waterville drew 82 ‘hardy lot,’ resident-of-Maine entrants.
