Just curious what time hall opening hours are in the US, Europe and other parts of the world... not bar tables... halls.
Here, it is usual for opening times from around 11am - 2am (or whenever you GTFO basically) - the work ethic is naturally a little different here than most places... some halls I go to are also the homes of the people running it. One thing is for sure, these guys all live and breathe what they do.
They also employ people who are interested in the game, or wanting to improve their play, just as much as they are wanting a job (there's no equal opportunities policies here... so owners employ people who are knowledgeable, or capable of playing a decent game... you either have halls with ball rackers who are working to make use of the free table time they get... or in the dodgy halls, lots of sketchy women who 'want a game'...)
Had a busy weekend with work, and didn't play til later in the evening, ended up staying til 3am-ish. I felt a little bad for keeping them open, but needed the time to do something for myself. The dude couldn't care less, was happy to play.
