Hey guys - It looks like Skip and Jans in tempe, AZ will have Nick Varner, Buddy Hall and Tony Robles giving a 2 day school to 18 lucky students on November 22nd and 23rd.

Enrollment for the 2 day session is 750$, but I think they are giving 1/2 price if you enroll early. They just started hanging the flyers for this today at lunch time.

In addition to the school the pros will be giving an open exabition on the night of Saturday, the 22nd, starting at 7pm.

I think I am even more excited about the potential action after the tournament. Lord knows where these guys will end up, or if any of our local hot-shots will want to tangle with one fo these legends!

Thought I should let everyone know!

Buddy hall sure has been busy. I seem to be seeing him everywhere. The latest was his commercial on BcTV. He sure does have an infectuous laugh. And his recommendation in the ads in magazines for the Limbsaver. Narrator for the BcTV US Open. Plus an awful lot of playing lately. Jake

Im my opinion, Buddy Hall has the purest stroke of all players, young and old. He played with my cues for years, up to the time when i sold my old company, [bludworth custom cues]..

Best 9-baller for many years. If you get to see him play, watch him play run out pool and sweat his run out pattern. Hardly ever hits any balls when going to the next ball. Only time is to break up a couple, that are not makeable. Damn, what a great player, he is..

hell of a nice guy. Buddy and I are still very close. We stay in touch with each other and our wives also. Buddy and Sherrie have been together not quite as long as me and janice. [43years for us].....

They have a great family.....

Buddy is a great teacher. He never did like doing trick shots.[ as he would say, they are set up, anybody can make them]

He just teaches, good solid pool. He likes to play who he teaches, so he can sweat what your doing right and wrong, and work from that point on.

So true buddy is a very nice guy .I met him in 2001 and the open and talked for about a hour. after he lost a match.Telling me some stories about the road when he was younger. I Love the old stories. And I feel he's one of the best players then and now .But age is still a factor and he is still out there with whoes young guns and win to...
